Blue Brass

Neither in Vienna, nor in Berlin, nor in Paris exists a jazz club situated in a monumental complex of the 17th century. Situated in the arab Kalsa district of Palermo (it is the most ancient italian jazz club) it is the result of centuries of history, overlap of architecture and uses.

On 25 July 1995 the suggestive open-air theater reopened to the public, while since 1997 the premises of the ex-hospital host the “Popular Music School”, the “Blue Brass” space, the “European School of Jazz Orchestra” and the offices of The Brass Group Foundation.
