“Gershwin Night”, interpreted by Bepi Garsia on piano and Vito Giordano on trumpet accompanied by the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra (Orchestra Jazz Siciliana) conducted by Maestro Domenico Riina is a concert that comprehends the development of north-american music of the first decades of 20th century.

A fascinating and hypnotizing sound, in good part unpublished. The repertoire proposed by Maestro Bepi Garsia has designed an emotional sonic journey, touching the famous “Rhapsody in blue”, one the most notorious performances of the american artist, who wrote his songs in the now legendary Tin Pan Alley, the 28th where all american folk songs were born and where worked artists of the calibre of Irvin Mills, Jerome Kern and many others. Besides Maestro Garsia, another prominent artistic figure is Maestro Vito Giordano, soloist of the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra (Orchestra Jazz Siciliana) on the trumpet and on the flugelhorn, also director of the Popular Music School of the Brass Group (Scuola Popolare di Musica).
